The Audi e-tron is an electric vehicle that combines elegance, performance and advanced technology. This all-electric SUV occupies an important place in the world of electric cars, thanks to its innovative features and modern design. In this article, we'll explore in detail the powertrain, performance and trim levels available, as well as the additional options offered by Audi for this model.
Powertrain
Engine type
The Audi e-tron is equipped with a fully electric propulsion system consisting of two asynchronous motors on each axle. This type of motorization ensures optimum power distribution between the front and rear wheels, guaranteeing enhanced stability and maneuverability. Synchronization between the two motors ensures a smooth, quiet ride, meeting the expectations of drivers who are keen on new technologies.
Battery and capacity
The key element of the Audi e-tron's powertrain is its high-performance lithium-ion battery. It has a total capacity of 95 kWh, of which 86.5 kWh is actually usable. This translates into an estimated range of around 400 kilometers according to the WLTP (Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicles Test Procedure) cycle. Positioning the battery under the floor reduces the vehicle's center of gravity, enhancing stability and handling.
Charging and consumption
When it comes to charging, the Audi e-tron can be connected to a variety of energy sources. On a DC fast-charging station, it can reach an impressive charging capacity of 150 kW, recovering 80% of its charge in just 30 minutes. For more traditional charging, at home for example, a full charge using a standard 11 kW wall charger takes around 10 hours. In terms of fuel consumption, the e-tron is remarkably efficient, with an overall consumption of around 22 kWh/100 km, depending on driving conditions.

Performance
Power and torque
The Audi e-tron's motors deliver a combined output of up to 300 kW, equivalent to almost 408 hp. This commercial power gives the SUV excellent acceleration capabilities, capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 6 seconds. What's more, the 664 Nm of torque instantly available ensures energetic acceleration, indispensable for dynamic driving in urban and extra-urban environments.
Maximum speed and traction
The e-tron's top speed is electronically limited to 200 km/h, guaranteeing good control on the freeway while preserving range. Thanks to quattro ultra permanent all-wheel drive, the car automatically adapts to road conditions and torque distribution between the front and rear axles, enhancing traction and safety when driving on slippery or uneven surfaces.
Finally, Audi drive select allows the driver to choose from seven different driving modes, influencing the vehicle's dynamic character according to specific needs, from "Efficiency" mode focused on reducing energy consumption to "Dynamic" mode maximizing performance.
